Things have been rather docile for me as of late.

I've fallen into a routine of getting up at seven, going to work, coming home at five, reading and galivanting on the internet until one in the morning and then repeating.

The excitement is coming though because it is Christmas Time!!!

Lizzie and I got a tree on Saturday which fell on me last night when I was trying to make it straight. I short circuted the star topper when it fell on my face and had to order a new one from Amazon....lolz

This weekend we are going to LA. Lizzie and I are going to see Mellowdrone.....finally, 3 years was too long!!! Then on Sunday were going to DISNEYLAND!!!!OMG!!!!SQUEEEE!!!! I haven't been in years and Lizzie's never been and it is going to be absolutely amazing (if it doesn't rain) because we are going with a girl that WORKS THERE and who'll show us all the special magical things that most people don't know about.....so stoked for DISLEYLAND (my childhood pronounciation, as my mother informs me).

Lizzie got the global Kindle last week and after browsing hers and doing a bit of research I decided to get one too. So that is my Christmas Gift for myself this year!!

The Kindle will come in handy on my flight TO LONDON!!!!!!!!!! 21 days away!!!! Beyond excited!!!! SPAZING OUT ALL THE TIME!!!!

I'll spend two weeks in London, though I might (might) go to Holland with the boys for New Years....but I've never had NYE in London or any major city and am totally down for massive crowds of happy (drunk) people and fireworks! I might try and catch The Misanthrope....meh. I have already planned the first things I am going to do when I get to London. I'm going to get the bus from Heathrow to Kingston, then wind around the long way to Trafalgar Square with a pit stop in New Malden TESCO!!!!!! before going through, Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Clapham Junction, Kings Road, GLOUCESTER ROAD STATION!!!, Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Tottenham Ct and then i will just stay on one bus up to Hornsey. Leave my crap at Lizzie's then go back down through the city and meet up with whomever is available....if no one is, then I will happily wander about and stare at people on the buses all day long.....mwahahahahahahahahahaaaa.

I've decided to go to Cardiff for a couple days just to see a bit of Wales....I'm going to go see A Christmas Carol which has great reviews.

Then I go to CYPRUS TO SEE MILAN!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I GET TO SEE EVERYONE NEXT YEAR!!!!!! (except for Jess.....sads) SO EXCITED!!!!

Hopefully Lorenzo will be in London when I see Ksenia....ahhhhhhhhh, too giddy right now to write anymore.

As someone who has had a gun pointed at their face by a person whom I couldn't tell could actually commit murder or not, being on the wrong end of a gun is one of those experiences you never forget. At least the kid holding the gun to my face wasn't shaking.

This is beyond fucked up.

I toured with these guys for over a year and was witness to several incidents of racial profiling. Some were so blatant that I, as a white girl traveling with 5 black guys, was treated completely differently. The cop would hear me out but just get angry with them. I hate men and I hate police.

I fucking hate the police with every fiber of my body. I've not met one that did their job properly. This was a whole squad that was way off the mark and destroyed what had been an amazing night.

Just watched the Royal Albert Hall Bliss video.....I thank Merlin everyday for the person who had the foresight to sit at the back and record that show because I would have died without the audio from that over the past 1.5 years.  When Matt comes back in after the slow bit....I melt.  So perfect.  Best gig ever......RIP Nettie....definitely the best Muse gig I've been to.

Also, I got an email notification from UPS saying that something weighing 3 pounds is going to arrive on Sep 10th.....my book comes out on the 8th, Lizzie's Beekeeper Suit, Hat and Veil are supposed to weigh over 5 pounds and my Muse CD/DVD aren't supposed to be released until Sep 14/15.....so I am spazzing and hoping it is Muse and not my book being late......so excited....I wish I knew what it was....gah!!!!



I BOUGHT MY TICKET FOR LONDON!!!!   I WILL BE IN LONDON FROM DECEMBER 30TH TO JANUARY 15TH!!!!  Then I go to Cyprus until January 30th when I get back to London at like 2130....i will spend 6 hours on the buses in Central London and then go back to Heathrow.....whooo!!!!   So excited!   Spending all the money I've saved going on this trip, but I need this.

 I just need to find places to stay while I'm in London....blergh!

 Today I found out that a friend of mine, that I spent a considerable amount of time gigging with, died in a car crash on her way to Eden Festival.

Jennifer was an amazing human being who managed to infuse her adoration for music with her drive to help and better others.  

Certainly one of the most vivacious people I've ever met and she will definitely be missed, but more than fondly remembered as ALWAYS ON THE BRINK!!!!

It was an unexpected loss but we all know that she lived life to the fullest.

 So, PETA is up in arms over Obama destroying a fly (rather deliberately) during an interview that was aired yesterday.

While PETA are having a fit over Obama 'not being budda and humans need to think before they act', I say that Obama is a wizard and never really went to Indonesia, but to Hogwarts, where he was a seeker for Slytherin.  HE HAS MAD NINJA SKILLS!  How many Presidents much less people are capable of a decisive strike and kill on an enemy fly?
